MY IDEA TO IMPROVE THIS PLACE...

​

Is to build artistic and environmentally friendly pedestrian booths at both sides of the bascule bridge. The roof will have solar panels. The energy stored during the day will be used to illuminate the booth at night and to offer other services like phone charging stations. Lights and/ or sound installations will be present at the booth.

SO THAT PEOPLE COULD...

Wait while the bridge is open in the shadow at a comfortable place refuged from Miami’s sun and rain. Charge their mobile devices and chat a little bit with other pedestrians. Admire the art at the booth. Learn about sustainable and environmentally friendly design movement.
